This Hoover home addition completely transformed an underutilized carport into a luxurious master suite designed for everyday comfort and long-term value. Before construction, the space consisted of an open carport with a small exterior laundry room that offered limited functionality and little connection to the rest of the home.
Working closely with the homeowners, we developed a design that maximized the available square footage while creating a seamless transition between the existing home and the new addition. The project included framing, insulation, electrical, plumbing, HVAC extensions, drywall, flooring, windows, interior finishes, and a complete primary bathroom with modern fixtures.
The finished addition now includes a spacious bedroom, a private bathroom with a double vanity and walk-in shower, a dedicated toilet area, a walk-in closet, and a relocated indoor laundry room that greatly improves the home's functionality. What was once unused exterior space has become a comfortable, modern living area that blends naturally with the original home.
